2026 Illumination Film Festival
Each year, Loyola University Chicago's Film and Digital Media Program hosts a film festival screening the senior "Capstone" thesis films and the three selected "Collaboration" films.
At the Spring 2026 Illumination screening, I was lucky enough to be involved in and to have screened four films I worked on in the 2025-2026 school year.
Producing alongside Lawson Sharrer two "Capstone" films, 312, directed by Michael Rogowski, and Night Shift, directed by Emma Elliott.
I served as the Director of Photography for A Peek, directed by Anshika Bhardwaj.
Jack-o' Jungle Juice, one of the "Collaboration" films, was written by Megan Bradley, produced by Lawson Sharrer, and directed by me.

Annual Award Ceremony
Every year, the School of Communication holds an Annual Award Ceremony, where students are nominated by relevant faculty and recognized for "excellence" in their field of study.
In the spring of 2026, I had the privilege of being nominated for a filmmaking award by the Film and Digital Media staff. This was an opportunity I was unaware of, and I was unaware of my nomination.
Thanks to the support of my wonderful FDM faculty, creative partners, and producer Lawson Sharrer, I received the "Excellence in Directing" award in Film and Digital Media. It was a privilege and honor to be recognized among some of my wonderful peers.
Rambler Workshops
In the fall, my friend and creative partner, Lawson Sharrer, and I began brainstorming an idea to encourage community and learning outside the classroom.
In December of 2025, we invited our full-time Film and Digital Media faculty to our "Rambler Workshops" pitch. As part of the school's production company, Rambler Productions, Rambler Workshops would provide supplemental instruction to existing film courses.
Beginning in January of 2026, we co-led bi-weekly workshops which covered story development, two cinematography courses, an equipment day, pitching, and producing. For our last workshop in producing, we brought a Loyola alumna to discuss the good and the bad.
The purpose of Rambler Workshops is for our peers to learn concepts from courses that may not be available to them, create a stronger film community, and encourage filmmaking outside of class assignments.
We are so lucky to have received so much support from our peers who attend and our faculty who support us.
Rambler Workshops will continue with weekly sessions in Fall 2026.
2025-2026 Collaboration Program
Each year, the anticipated "Collaboration Program" launches for a new cycle. The program was created by the faculty to provide an exclusive opportunity for select filmmakers to show their talents or debut their skills. In the spring semester, students submit their short film scripts, where an outside jury reads and selects three films to be produced as the next years Collaboration films.
Once the films are selected, director/producer teams must prepare and pitch for all three scripts, to which they have the opportunity to be assigned to one of the scripts.
In April of 2025, Lawson Sharrer (producer) and I (director) teamed up and began our work. We were selected to produce Jack-o' Jungle Juice, written by Megan Bradley. This film required a lot of attention, creativity, and funding.
During 7 months of pre-production, we crewed up, crowdfunded $7,000, received an additional $1500 from a school grant, rented an empty two-story apartment, and had three weeks before filming to fully decorate it.
We filmed in three days November 21-23. Nothing would have been done without our large crew, cast, extras, and each other. We screened Jack-o' Jungle Juice at our annual Illumination Screening.
Currently on the festival circuit.
